Every summer Birch Aquarium at Scripps transforms its Tide Pool Plaza into an outdoor music venue unlike any other for the Green Flash Concert Series. These lively monthly concerts, presented in partnership with 101.5 KGB, STAR 94.1, Belly Up Entertainment and Subaru provide the ultimate Southern California music experience and panoramic ocean views with Milo Greene—an L.A.-based Indie-pop band of singer-songwriters whose ethereal music both soothes and invigorates the soul. Green Flash concerts are for ages 21 and up.  All concerts are general admission and standing room only. Individual tickets are $30.95 for members and $35.95 for the general public. UC San Diego students, staff and faculty receive a special price of $17.98 with the code UCSDGF17.  Admission includes the concert, entrance to all aquarium exhibits, and parking. Concerts run from 6:30–9 p.m. Doors open at 5:30. Food, beer and wine are available for purchase. Proceeds benefit exhibits and educational programming at Birch Aquarium at Scripps.
