22nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

MLK day of service at Mission Bay High School

Saturday, January 13, 2024

This annual tradition was established in 2002 as a way for our UC San Diego community to give back. This year, we will return to Mission Bay High School from 9 AM to 2 PM for a day of community building and connection to honor the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Service projects will consist of continuing to develop the sensory garden for special education students, painting a mural, creating a space for their new peer tutoring program, and much needed general maintenance and clean up around campus. A continental breakfast, lunch, and volunteer t-shirt will be provided to all participants.

Registration form is now available! Sign-up today to participate!
